- Find your parking spot
Use the parking address in your Airbnb message. The entrance is east of the main house, toward the mountains. Look for the large shed and white fence.
- Pull through the gate
Park on the concrete area through the chain-link gate. One off-street space is included. Pull forward, keep the driveway clear, and please avoid street parking.
- Follow the path
Walk west, away from the mountains, past the white fence and under the patio. Take the stairs down to your apartment.
- Make yourself at home
Enter the door code from your Airbnb message. Let the lock finish moving before opening. Pull the door fully closed whenever you leave.

Use the small smart switch beside the traditional switch near each room’s entrance. The traditional switches are covered and should stay as they are.
- Use the On and Off buttons to turn the lights on or off.
- Press On repeatedly to cycle through the lighting presets.
- Use the two dimming buttons to brighten or soften the light.
If Siri does not respond, use the smart switches and send us a message. You can still control the lights without voice commands.
TemperatureFind your comfort zone
Slide your finger up or down on the thermostat’s temperature setting to adjust it. Please leave the vents in position so air stays evenly distributed.
If one room feels too warm or too cool, let us know which room and we’ll help.
TV & soundSettle in for a movie
There are TVs with Apple TV and sound systems in the living room and bedrooms. Look for the remotes on the coffee table or nightstands.
If a streaming service asks for a login or something does not connect, message us so we can help. Enjoy the setup and settle in for a movie.
Laundry & linensThe everyday essentials
The washer and dryer are yours to use. Avoid overloading either machine. Laundry detergent and cleaning supplies are under the kitchen or bathroom sink.
Extra bedding is in the closet, and towels are in the bedroom closets. Make yourself at home in the drawers and closets, too.

Coffee & kitchenMake something good
Coffee supplies are above the coffee maker. The Brita pitcher is in the refrigerator, and ice is in the freezer.
You’ll find cookware, knives, a cutting board, spices, and measuring cups in the kitchen. Garbage bags and cleaning supplies are under the sink.

BathroomFreshen up
Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are in the shower. Towels are in the bedroom closets, and extra toilet paper is in the bathroom.
Use the LED candles for a relaxed evening. Please leave real candles unlit.
Trash & recyclingKeep things easy
We’re happy to help with taking the garbage out. Send us a message if you need a pickup or help finding the bins.
If you take it out yourself, the black bin is for trash and the blue bin is for accepted recyclables. Ask us if you’re unsure what belongs in recycling.
Working from hereMake room for your workday
Use the standing desk, or lift the coffee-table top to make a work surface. Power strips and USB connections are under the coffee table and on the side table.
Phone chargers are available by the beds. For a change of scenery, Cupla Coffee is a neighborhood option.

The apartment is part of an occupied home, so everyday sounds from upstairs can travel. If anything disrupts your comfort, please let us know.
Please keep the apartment smoke-free and pet-free, use the provided LED candles, and check with us before rearranging furniture. No parties. More than four people requires prior written approval.
